We’ve brought the mountains to Malmesbury!
At The Old Bell Hotel, we’re excited to unveil the seasonal transformation of our much-loved Tyger Bar into Après Ski @ Tyger Bar — an alpine-inspired experience in the heart of the South Cotswolds. This winter our tropical Tyger Bar has been reimagined as a stunning winter retreat, where fires flicker, candles glow, and the cosy indulgence of the Alps meets the historic charm of The Old Bell Hotel.
Think armchairs draped with faux furs, rustic tables lit by candlelight, ski memorabilia hanging from the rafters, and evergreen trees filling the space with seasonal magic. It’s the perfect place to gather after countryside walks, festive shopping trips — or simply to make an evening of it with friends!
This is Après Ski without the slopes. Alpine atmosphere without the travel. And it’s the place to come for some festive fun!
Seasonal Après Ski Menus
Our seasonal Après Ski @ Tyger Bar menu is packed with warming, indulgent comfort food and is served Thursday to Sunday.
Favourites include:
- Baked Camembert to Share with warm crusty bread, cornichons, pickled baby onions and tomato relish
- Dirty Fries with pulled ham hock, grated mozzarella, honey and Meaux mustard dressing — vegetarian option available
- Bratwurst Hotdog with caramelised onions, sauerkraut, mustard and ketchup — vegetarian option available
Head to the bar for fun, Après Ski–inspired cocktails shaken up by our bobble-hat-wearing mixologists including...
- Mt. Hanks Martini — Vodka, Baileys, Kahlua, gingerbread syrup and vanilla ice cream
- Off Piste — Bison Grass Vodka, apple juice, passionfruit syrup and Prosecco
- Whit’s Way Winter Margarita — Cranberry-infused tequila, cinnamon Triple Sec, agave and lime
