Old Bell Weddings

The Old Bell Hotel is grade 1 listed with antiques and cosy corners, log fires in the winter, well tended gardens in the summer and friendly staff all year round, all of which contribute towards its own special charm.

We have a beautiful patio area for arrival drinks or lounges which can be set aside in inclement weather. Licensed for civil ceremonies in two areas of the hotel, our Edwardian restaurant will accommodate up to 80 guests and is available for guests to be seated from 12.30. The restaurant needs to be vacated by 5.30pm unless an evening party is to take place.

Should you wish to continue into the evening guests can move through to the Garden Room which opens onto the patio and gardens. Here you might have band or disco. Evening buffets can be served in this room which can accommodate 120 people for an evening party. When an evening event is booked all 33 bedrooms need to be reserved. There is an exclusive use charge for this.

The Old Bell restaurant has achieved, and maintained for many years now, a much sought after two rosette standard for its food and service. Our wine list has been meticulously prepared offering an excellent choice, representing most wine producing countries of the world.
