The Old Bell Hotel is grade 1 listed with antiques and cosy corners, log fires in the winter, well tended gardens in the summer and friendly staff all year round, all of which contribute towards its own special charm.

We have a beautiful terrace garden area for arrival drinks or lounges which can be set aside in inclement weather. Our Garden Room is licensed for civil ceremonies up to 80 guests and allows access to patios and the garden for celebratory drinks afterwards.

Our Edwardian restaurant can accommodate up to 80 wedding guests and looks truly beautiful when laid up for a wedding breakfast.

The hotel can also be reserved on an exclusive use basis, you can then carry on your party into the evening, perhaps with a disco or band and a finger buffet mid evening. Further evening guests can be invited up to a maximum of 120. After a hard evening of celebration eventually retire to one of our 33 bedrooms.

The Old Bell restaurant has achieved, and maintained for many years now, a much sought after two rosette standard for its food and service.
