Tetbury Summer and Flower Show - 12th August 2012

Every August Tetbury hosts an impressive Summer Show, comprising entertainment for all the family. It is opened to the music of Bristol Pipe and Drums, and ith the event growing each year the show still exhibits the traditional with the marquee boasting a finery of flowers, fruit and vegetables all grown and displayed by local exhibitors, not to mention the beautiful display of classic cars.

Swindon Mela - 25th August 2012

For the 10th year running Swindon will be hosting the prize-winning Swindon Mela – the southwest’s biggest free festival, celebrating the sights, sounds and tastes of the best that the Indian sub-continent has to offer.

Treefest at Westonbirt - 25th - 27th August 2012

Watch as carvers take inspiration from fairytales and nature to create large wooden sculptures that will become part of the new play trail in Silk Wood. Local live music, traditional woodcraft and woodland skills, local food producers and live cookery demonstrations from local celebrity chefs Rob Rees MBE and Charlotte Pike will also entertain.Visitors to Treefest will have the chance to camp at the event. This year, visitors can upgrade to a tipi or yurt for their weekend.
