On the weekend of October 16/17/18 a festival is held in Malmesbury to celebrate the writings and thoughts of the politcal philosopher Thomas Hobbes. He was born in Malmesbury and wrote some of his famous book 'The Leviathan' at the hotel. A weekend of debate, more details to follow.
