Executive Chef Jason arrived in the Cotswolds after a stellar career in some of The West Countries best known eateries,including Michelin starred Harveys in Bristol and Hunstret House in Bath. This was followed by The Manor House in Castle Combe and three years with celebrity chef Tony Tobin.
Says Jason: “The menu I have put together here at The Old Bell reflects my classical training, balanced with modern simplicity. My dishes encourage individual flavours to shine, yet to to complement each other. I have a passion for exciting and original cooking which inspires our guests to try new food experiences, as well as a decent sprinkling of old favourites with a modern twist, for the traditionalists.”
The Old Bell has a well deserved and far-reaching reputation for its award winning food. Our aim is to make Jason's food accessible to all – through casual dining in our brasserie, a la carte eating in our restaurant, and with Jason's Tasting Menu: an ever changing gastronomic journey through flavours, seasons and styles.
